JASON KOVACSEV
Co-Director
Jason is a graduate of the University of Central Florida Film Program, where he directed the audience award winning short POTATO SAC. He has filled various roles in the film community, including helping establish the location library for the Metro-Orlando Film Commission, and working as an instructor with the New York Film Academy. He recently co-directed and produced an award winning short documentary about celebrity impersonators JUST ABOUT FAMOUS which is currently being expanded into a feature.
Jason is in post-production with an experiment short I AM about a struggling boxer. He has continued to work on several scripts and television concepts.
JOHN SCHAUB
Co-Director
John is an award winning filmmaker with over 11 years of experience in film and video production and post-production. As an editor his work includes “Return to Bountiful” a documentary about the academy awarding film “Trip to Bountiful”. John has worked as an editor on several reality shows including, “Truth Be Told” for TLC, “My Big Redneck Wedding” for CMT, and “Brooke Knows Best” for VH1. As producer John has worked on documentaries, including the soon to be released “Voices in the Clouds”, which follows the journey of a Taiwanese-American's journey home to discover his heritage. As director he has completed broadcast and industrial projects for AAA, Hilton, and the American Cancer Society in addition to several award winning short films. John graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2001 with a degree in film production.
MATT MAMULA
Producer
Matt Mamula is a graduate of the UCLA Professional Program: Screenwriting and University of Central Florida Film Program where he helped Jason Kovacsev produce his audience award winning short POTATO SAC. By day, Matt does various freelance film/video work and by night continues to write several spec feature and TV concepts. His latest work that he helped co-direct, JUST ABOUT FAMOUS, has played in over 20 film festivals including Cleveland, Dallas, Sarasota, Nashville, Atlanta, DC Shorts and more.
He has currently finished another short doc entitled DIE LIKE AN EGYPTIAN and is in post production on a feature version of JUST ABOUT FAMOUS and another short doc about San Francisco Jazzman, Ralph Carney.
JARED HESS
Co-Producer
Jared is a graduate of Valencia College's Digital Media program and has been working the last 6 years as a freelance Camera Operator, Video Shader and Technician. Some of his top clients include ESPN, Fox, NASCAR, Spike and the Orlando Magic. Jared Has been fortunate to work such events as Little League World Series, The US Open, MLB World Series, MLB All-Star game, NBA All-Star Game, Various NCAA Bowl games amongst many others. He has just finished up 24 weeks traveling the United States with ESPN baseball and will be shooting ENG for the next 10 weeks traveling with Bellator Fighting Championships on Spike and MTV2.
Jared also Co-Produced and shot the groups award winning short JUST ABOUT FAMOUS and hopes to wrap up shooting his directorial debut, a documentary on DWARF TOSSING.
ALEX CROMARTIE
Sound
Alex holds an A.S. in Recording Arts from Full Sail University and runs his company LOOPHOLE RECORDINGS.
In addition to over 10 years experience in the music and post-production business, Alex produces two different daily radio segments for American Forces Radio Network, and a weekly fitness blog on Youtube.
